I've had my first week of line training last week. Two flights to Nice, one to Madrid and one to Malaga. It has been fantastic! Everything went well and i'm also flying without an extra safety pilot since the 3th flight. Just you and the captain gives an incredible good feeling! Next week I have 5 more flight scheduled on my roster.
A wing ceremony was also planned. I can remember our CPL wing ceremony in Portugal like it was yesterday. It seems it has been a short while but in fact it has been more than a year. As a mather of fact if i check my logbook...at this time one year ago i was airborn in a PA34 over Beja together with Pessanha and Bitter taking my ME+IR exam! Time flies... transavia.com is great!!! I'm enjoying every little bit of it. The past 3 weeks have been pretty tough but all four of us managed to pass the transavia.com Boeing 737 groundschool with nice marks!
The next 4 weeks we will continue in the simulator and train for our prof check. Thereafter we will have a flight safety course and our aircraft exam will be in the last week of March. When we pass our aircraft exam we are officially allowed to operate as co-pilot on the Boeing 737. Immediately after the exam we will start with our line training. That means we will fly normal commercial flights with an instructor. Stay tuned!!! PS. Remember I played in a movie together with Marcia when I was in Portugal? Guess what?
